Life is Good!  Jay and I just got back from Mexico.  I believe this is the first real vacation we have had without our kids in the almost 17 years of marriage....So we deserved it!  We had a blast and got to do things we had never done before, like snorkeling.  Jay is a fan!  He is ready for scuba diving classes now.

We spent Christmas Eve at my sister's house.  We had dinner there and Santa came and brought the kids a candy/peanut bag.  It is always a blast and becoming a family tradition.

Christmas brought our family together and I am very thankful for all of my many blessings and my family.  We had Christmas dinner at my mom's. We then went to Jay's mom's and got caught in a blizzard on our way back to my mom's.  The next day, we went to Jay's dad's house and visited with him.  In the afternoon, we went sledding.  It was fun.  I haven't done that in years.

Bailie's broken finger

Today Bailie got her nails out of her left pinky finger.  She was scared but she said it didn't hurt at all.  These are the pre pictures and pictures with the nails in place.

Nicki and Jon Motte (Jay's sister) and their baby Ashtyn

Yesterday I went to Nephi for clinicals.  I got to do my first stitch on a real person.  We cut out a mole and then stitched the incision back together.  It was awesome, of course.  Then we did cryotherapy on her other mole.  Also got alot of hernia and prostate checks. lol.  So much fun.

Today Vonda did her ERCP.  Hope it works for her and fixes all of her abdominal pains.  We went over to American Fork Hospital and visited her.  She didn't look like she felt too good.

October 23, 2008- Today I went to clinicals in Nephi Clinic.  I am following a guy named, Brian Gasser.  The most exciting thing I got to do today is a prostate and hernia exam on a real person!!  lol.  That man was a really good sport because he let Brian check him to show me and then he let me do it again.  In other words, he got it twice!  Today, Bailie also went back to the orthopedic doctor and got her stitches out of her left little finger and her dressing rewrapped.  It was pretty smelly!!!  Yuck!

Today we got to learn how to suture at school.  We got to practice on pigs feet!  We then got to do digital blocks on each others fingers.  It was alot of fun.  I hope I get to practice soon in real life.
