Ok- today Jay installed the faucet. Isn't it pretty? I love it! I am so thankful to have such a talented husband...Thanks babe! Now...for the backsplash. We have thought of a couple options.
1. Small 4 inch backsplash
2. Run the solid surface up the wall to the cupboards.
3. Do a 5 inch backsplash and raise it just in the areas of the sink and the stove for better protection.
hmmmm...what to do.

HOLY smokes!!! THat looks so amazing. I love the faucet too. Super elegant looking. The dark counter tops are my FAVE. Jen - it just looks so SO nice. Can't wait to see what you decide to do for the backsplash!!
Yeah for Jay! Now the trick is to keep it clean. Better just keep the kids out of there and you'll be okay!
